Artist Statement

As few know, I've been a street photographer for many many years exhibiting my work in many places, my passion for street photography embodies the "Art" that went into what is found on the streets of many places. Found objects, chalk, paint whatever the medium, it's a vision set about by another artist and holds a feeling or emotion to something or someone…

"Graffiti in itself is usually only there for a moment in time, then removed, in my medium, I feel in many ways that, I’m preserving, the beauty of it all. -Gryder"

Artist Biography 

Starting my love for photography and art at a younger age, I didn’t pursue it as an “ artist “ until later in life. I was 30 years old when I decided to try taking classes and learning the craft, I then started exhibiting and loved showing what I perceive as beauty in the world. I’m fascinated by street art, city grit, landscapes, architecture, just to name a few. I hope to evoke a feeling with my artwork that someday will become something that you capture and has faded away in time.  - Gryder 

Gryder is an award-winning artist from Lynchburg, Va. She has exhibited all over the East Coast including New York City, Virginia Beach and Richmond Va  to name a few and is in many private collections throughout the U.S.
