Artspace in Richmond Opens New Exhibitions from May 24 to June 22, 2024

Anna Freeman / At The Water’s Edge - Ceramics

Award-winning ceramic artist Anna Velkoff Freeman lives in Virginia Beach, VA, where she works as an artist and art instructor, teaching at Tidewater Community College and the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art. 

Jennifer L. Hand / Habitation - Drawings and Mixed Media Fiber

Jennifer L. Hand coordinates the Foundations program for the School of Visual Arts at Virginia Tech where she is also an instructor. In her studio practice, she explores the relationship between human beings and the natural world through observation and metaphor.

Yen Ha and Anna Rubin / A Storm Event - Drawing and Electronic Music Composition

Yen Ha and Anna Rubin met at an artist residency at the Virginia Center for Creative Arts in Amherst, VA. Their interest in the transformation of words into music and drawing forms the basis of collaboration.

UNMASK  / In Support of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) of Central Virginia
UNMASK is an inaugural traveling art exhibit whose goal is to bring attention to and encourage discussion about mental illness.
