About this Event
A guided walking tour of the 800 and 900 blocks of S. Center Street, Ashland. We will share some history and architecture about these homes that face onto the railroad tracks. These properties were some of the first developed by the Richmond, Fredericksburg and Potomac Railroad.
Each 60-minute walking tour will end with a reception at 905 S. Center St. This Greek Revival home was built in 1872 by Richard Irby, Secretary and Treasurer of Randolph-Macon College.
Tours offered at 2pm and 4pm.
