CMSCVA celebrates the 150-anniversary year of composer Samuel Coleridge-Taylor with an ensemble of nine players and a program of Romantic British chamber music.  This concert includes works by Coleridge-Taylor, his friends and his teachers, including his jubilant Nonet and piano transcriptions of folk music from America and the Caribbean. “Circle of Friends” also includes the ultimate friendship tribute piece, Elgar’s “Enigma” Variations, in an arrangement by CMSCVA Artistic Director James Wilson.
