While Kehinde Wiley is the artist behind the VMFA's impressive sculpture Rumors of War, he is perhaps most famous for his floral portraits of Black subjects--including former President Obama. We'll be copying his style today by creating our own floral self-portraits.

To allow for more time to focus on the florals, please bring a printed photo of yourself to cut out and glue onto our canvas. This event is for ages 6-12.
