This August, the Friends of Ettrick-Matoaca Public Library are hosting a golf fundraiser in Petersburg at the Dogwood Trace Golf Course. You are invited to enjoy 18 holes of golf, lunch, games, prizes, raffles and a silent auction. All funds raised during this event will go to help bring expanded programs to Ettrick-Matoaca and Meadowdale libraries, including technology programs designed to provide hands-on, interactive learning opportunities for students interested in STEAM and other career skills. Revenues from this fundraiser will also support the new multimedia studio and makerspace at Ettrick-Matoaca Library by expanding the library’s selection of materials on topics that directly support the studio and makerspace or provide inspiration on how to better use the resources.
