On this coming December 2, from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., there will be a book signing at the Books, Beads and More book store at 8106 Mechanicsville Turnpike, Richmond Virginia 23111.

Jesse A. DeBraux I, a local author in Richmond Virginia, has had an opportunity to experience a variety of careers, which included, acting, teaching, pastoring and developing his own business as a defense contractor with the Department of the US Navy.

During his career, he volunteered his services to the executive board of directors, for the Boy Scouts of America, in Portsmouth Virginia, Community relations with the Portsmouth Police Department, Liaison for disputes between management and tenant Relations and president of the Little League baseball team, for the Portsmouth Housing Authority.

He graduated from I.C. Norcom High School, in Portsmouth Virginia, obtained a Bachelor of science degree in Music Education at Norfolk State University, Designations from the Institute of eal Estate Management and Old Dominion University, which includes, on-site management, Business Management, Industrial Supervision, Professional Construction Management, and received, Professional acting instructions from Sylvia Harmon of the Actors Place in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

His Professional acting career includes, New Dominion Pictures, Mira Max Film, Regent Film, Enscape Entertainment, Coastal Studios and Featured Principle on HBO. Also, studies included commercials, stage and motion pictures techniques. Acting career roles were in FBI Files, The Haunting, Special operations, Inter-Pool, High Jacked, The Peanut Man (George Washington Carver) and the Motion Picture Cold Mountain.

Jesse was named an outstanding young man and a chieftain of the Ecclesiastical in the Blue Book of Tidewater, with the Portsmouth Jaycees. Later Jesse DeBraux became the author of two books entitled “Horse A Romantic Drama” (an outline for a feature film) and through some of the most amazing life experiences, Jesse was inspired to write the book
entitled “The Power Within” a true story.
