Gellman Room –Richmond Public Library, June 3 – Aug 2 10am to 6pm daily except Sunday. Located at 101 E Franklin St, Richmond, VA 23219
Metro Richmond Artists Association (MRAA) promotes and encourages the creation of visual art. Its history as Richmond’s oldest non-profit professional art association began when a group of full-time art instructors and other professional artists from the Richmond Professional Institute (now Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Arts) started the area’s very first art organization in 1955. MRAA brings education to the Richmond community through workshops, programs, and outstanding art exhibitions. Comprised of professional, working artists, a juried membership provides the fellowship of like-minded artists and the opportunity for prominent exposure and sales via group shows. More information is available at metrorichmondart.org.
