Enjoy a movie with us that you may have missed at the theater! This week's film is The Last Black Man in San Francisco.

A beautifully shot drama about one man’s hope of reclaiming his childhood, Victorian home in San Francisco. Jimmie Fails doesn’t still live in the Victorian mansion his father built in the heart of San Francisco, but that doesn’t stop him from stopping by regularly to conduct free upkeep. When a tragedy leaves the house empty, Jimmie sees an opportunity and moves right in. Featuring elements of both a rom-com–between a man and a house–and a buddy comedy–between a man and his long-time friend–this sweet, indie film highlights the effects of gentrification and the impact of teamwork and perseverance.
