New program alert! Learn all about the creative possibilities of paper. Paper Gizmos will incorporate artmaking, history, and science to make paper fly, float, and move. Each class will include corresponding hands-on activities and video tutorials on our website for participants and other community members to try at home at any time.
Led by Sam Page, this class is open to teens and up and accessible for all skill levels. All you need to participate is some paper--recycled is always appreciated! If you need supplies, we have kits available in our Giving Library at 3511P Street Richmond, VA!
CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Paper is used for so many things. We write on it, fold it, crumple it and stick it in our pockets. In this class, let’s put some respect on paper’s name. Let’s make paper fly and float and move. With some history, science and luck, let’s see what paper can do in Paper Gizmos: Paper that moves.
