The Shady Grove Coffeehouse folk music concert series continues its 23^rd season on Saturday, November 9 with a concert featuring Richmond singer/songwriter Susan Greenbaum beginning at 8:00 PM (doors at 7:30 PM).

Susan Greenbaum committed the first sin of musicians: She quit her day job.  After working as a corporate executive, Susan traded her power suits for performing. And now her tax return, under "Occupation," reads, "Singer-songwriter." With five CD releases to her credit, Susan’s music receives significant national airplay on Americana, folk and country stations. Country/Americana music website “Roughstock” calls her “a songwriting talent to be reckoned with,” comparing her writing and singing to Mary Chapin Carpenter and Bonnie Raitt.
