Join the Concert Ballet of Virginia for their StoryBook Series  production of Sleeping Beauty. This shortened version of the classic,  fairytale ballet is geared towards promoting children's literacy and the  importance of arts in education. The 45 minute performance includes a  narration of the ballet, allowing for children to easily follow along,  and a short meet and greet after the performance. The Concert Ballet of  Virginia is a non-profit ballet company located in Ashland, VA. Founded  in 1976, the company focuses on inclusivity in dance and provides  performance opportunities for dancers of all backgrounds. Although the  Concert Ballet calls Ashland home, the company travels to many venues  around Central Virginia, making the arts more accessible to audience members throughout the state.

Announcements regarding the weather will be made by 3pm on the day of the performance.

Tickets are $5 per person. Children 6 and under are free!
