Threads of Resistance and Resilience showcases a collection of sculptures, 2D textile collage works, sculptural and wearable art pieces with a thematic expression of queer-thriving through both celebratory and activist-focused art and clothing by Michael Sylvan Robinson. Sylvan’s contemporary fiber art intersects fashion and costume, street art, and queer activism through an innovative use of textile collage and text-based art techniques.
