The Shady Grove Coffeehouse is a non-profit concert series hosted by the Unitarian Universalist Community Church in Glen Allen, VA, in the northwest suburbs of Richmond. We present acoustic, traditionally-based music, and got our start in 1998, when members of the Unitarian Universalist Community Church began to present concerts to help raise funds for our new building. We presented three such concerts at the First Unitarian Church: Steve Gillette and Cindy Mangsen in 1998, Dana Robinson in 1999, and Bob Franke and Lui Collins in 2000.
