In conjunction with the celebration of Black History Month, the lecture on Feb.23 will be a first-person portrayal of Sojourner Truth given by Charmaine Crowell- White, Living History Interpreter. On March. 9, author Connie Lapallo will discuss her new book and the final novel in the Jamestown Sky series, “The Sun is But a Morning Star” based on the true story of Joan Peirce and the women and children of Jamestown, Virginia. The sixth and final lecture on March. 23 “Rediscovery: What’s New at Jamestown Digs” will be given by Danny Schmidt, Senior Archaeologist at Jamestown.
