Art Exhibit May 2020

The following exhibits will be on display from Friday, May 1, 2020, through Tuesday, June 2, 2020:

Gellman Room—“A. M. STIMULI”— a collection of extremely mood-motivated “Works of Heart” with every painting an example of what lies between joy and pain by Philadelphia artist Stokes

Dooley Foyer— “IdentityRVA”—a photography and video exhibit exploring our humanity, raising awareness of our similarities despite our differences by award-winning Richmond photographer Kim Brundage

2nd Floor Gallery—pen-and-ink with ink wash, pencil and marker pointillism by Mechanicsville artist Cacy Herman

The library’s permanent collections include works by Helen & Alvin Hattorf and Anne Newbold Perkins.
