The following exhibits will be on display from Friday, August 2, 2019, through Tuesday, September 3, 2019:
Gellman Room—Greenland Photographic Expedition—images of icebergs, rocky islands, the Northern Lights, inland lakes, and waterfalls captured during an expedition on a sailing ship in Western Greenland by Richmond photographers Al and Linda Warfield.
Dooley Foyer—Contained—these works by Richmond artist Kevin Sabo, scale the ins and outs of containment both in their narrative and visuals: Figures are squished inside a canvas, character and playfulness become prominent themes, and color is explored intently.
Dooley Hall—Here & Abroad—graphite drawings, watercolor and acrylic paintings of still lifes, landscapes, buildings, and people by Richmond artist Tom Steger.
2nd Floor Gallery—Faces within Phases—mixed-media paintings which are the voice, the truth, and the reflection of the journey of Richmond artist Randi "Rjai"Tate.
The library’s permanent collections include works by David Freed, Helen & Alvin Hattorf, and Anne Newbold Perkins.
