Black History Museum Summer Tours

Friday, September 6 at 10:00am to 5:00pm

Stifle summer learning loss...Bring your children to the Black History Museum during summer break where they can explore and learn about Black history in a fun and interactive environment. Whether you come with just your own children or schedule a group tour for the neighborhood kids, our staff is ready to welcome you!

Join Mary Lauderdale to hear her enlightening accounts of Emancipation, Reconstruction, Jim Crow, Massive Resistance, Desegregation, and Civil Rights that bring history to life. She makes each tour age specific and weaves colorful narratives throughout. We invite visitors to listen, ask questions, and share their personal stories as part of the experience.

Guided tours and discount admission are available for groups of 10 or more.

For your tour extraordinaire, make reservations by contacting Mary Lauderdale.
