This hour-long, two-mile audio tour will guide you along the streets of Church Hill and Tobacco Row while you listen to the true life story of Elizabeth Van Lew, an abolitionist who worked to undermine the war efforts of the South during the Civil War. You'll gain insight into the life and times of Ms. Van Lew, and will be challenged to join her legacy in resisting the insidious forms of racism still alive in our city and world today.
You can take the tour at any time starting on October 12. Tours will be 1/2 price during her 200th birthday weekend, 10/12-10/14!
