English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)& English Literacy Civics (ELC)

English language learners may sign up to attend classes for fall and spring. The class will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week.

This class is provided by the Richmond Public School Adult Education Center. ESOL is designed for speakers of other languages who wish to learn to speak, read and write English in an American cultural context. Classes are available for beginner, intermediate and advance levels.

The ESL Civics class is for immigrants; English Language Learners may achieve greater competency as family members, citizens and workers. These are for adult immigrants who have some English Language skills and are interested in learning how to access information and services that will help in daily living experiences.

Students must register with the Adult Education Center before the class begins. On site registration begins August 24, 2021. Please contact RPS Adult and Continuing Education for additional details. 804-780-8311
