Free exhibit on display Sept 17 - Nov 8. Muralist, Nico Cathcart explores the connections between humans and the species that populate the earth alongside us in this new exhibit. Exploring the adverse effects of climate change and pollution on pollinators, oceans, and birds, her paintings speak about the need to pay attention to the changes happening in the world around us. In an effort to explore the connections between species, Cathcart’s newest body of work focuses on ocean, river, fields and sky with both paintings and immersive installations. This body of work complements the mural Plastic Tides, commissioned in 2019 in the Center’s parking lot, allowing viewers to have a conversation about how they can contribute to conservation globally.
