About the Performers:

The Blue Ridge Bards are a group of seasoned performers of traditional Celtic music based in Charlottesville, Virginia. Matthew O'Donnell, Ondra Riegl and Augie Fairchild collectively bring decades of both on-stage performing experience, and intensive study of trad Celtic folk music and song. They seek to carry on an age-old tradition of musical merrymaking, performing authentic folk music on traditional instruments including the accordion, fiddle, Irish flute, bouzouki and bodhran drum.

Their lively music has become a favorite at local festivals and breweries. The Bards' sets include traditional ballads, drinking songs, sea shanties, Irish jigs & reels, and light-hearted original songs, all played to share a time after which we can say "we've accomplished nothing, and we're all better for it".

Albafeire is a Richmond-based band focused on Scottish and Irish traditional music. With authentic acoustic celtic instruments including guitar, whistles, bodhrán, and bagpipes, come join band members Jay Wells, Dave Braxton, Brianna Cassick, and Dave Kolmer for an evening of relaxed fun and foot-stomping celtic entertainment!

Crossroads Irish Dance is one of the leading Irish dance institutions in Richmond, VA.  Established in 2001, they have committed themselves to provide quality and age-appropriate instruction in a fun, upbeat, welcoming environment that is encouraging for all.  No matter what class or level you’re in, their dance family and the team are a super dedicated, passionate, and supportive group of people.  They create an atmosphere that sets dancers up for success as they discover their own Crossroads journey.  They aim to encourage a widespread love of dance, welcoming children and adults who want to be a part of their family.
