First Friday in the Arts District

First Fridays in the Arts District is back to celebrate the Richmond Arts District with happy hour specials, store and sidewalk sales, vendor markers, opening exhibits, live performances, community celebrations & more throughout the Arts District’s galleries, restaurants, and shops.

Located along Historic Broad Street and including our neighbors in Historic Jackson Ward and Monroe Ward, the Richmond Arts District is a colorful community where a variety of arts and cultural hotspots, galleries and entertainment venues call home. Bordered by the VCU Institute for Contemporary Art, the Black History Museum and Cultural Center of Virginia, the Richmond Ballet and The Valentine museum, the Richmond Arts District invites an exploration of diverse and eclectic arts experiences. In between is a delightful myriad of restaurants, retailers and amenities. The Richmond Arts District is a unique destination for locals and visitors alike.
