Richmond Public Library is proud to take part in First Fridays, a signature event in Richmond’s Arts District Downtown Richmond's long-standing art walk happens year-round on the first Friday of every month. Galleries, shops, restaurants, non-profits, and other venues open their doors in celebration of art and community.

Make the Main Library a stop on your culture crawl by joining us on First Fridays from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM. These events feature openings in each of our gallery spaces from a variety of local artists.

RPL is also pleased to collaborate with Music One Stop Shop (MOSS) for a monthly showcase featuring local musicians. Start your month off with creativity and culture at the Main Library!
