This is a two day class in which students will forge a knife from scratch, heat treat, grind and install handle scales. A kydex sheath will be made for each knife. All materials and tools are provided as well as lunch both days. We will be forging a 6"x1.5"x3/16" piece of High Carbon steel. The knives tend to come out to 7-9" overall length. We provide a selection of wood and manmade handle materials. Students can either follow specific pattern directions from the instructor or attempt a shape of their own design - at the discretion of the instructor.
