The Valentine is proud to partner with Culture Works to present this History of Scott's Addition walking tour as part of the artoberVA All-Access Pay-What-You-Will series, empowering patrons to contribute to programming at a price point within their means, fostering accessibility and inclusion.

Originally named for General Winfield Scott, Scott's Addition is an early-20th century commercial and industrial area that contains perhaps Richmond’s best selection of Art Deco and Moderne commercial architecture. Join us to discover the history of this popular Richmond district and its evolution into a thriving residential neighborhood.
