The Holocaust by Bullets was the systematic killing of Jews & Roma Sinti which started before the development of the concentration camps. These mass murders took place in Eastern Europe and western Russia (present-day), and continued until Nazi Germany’s surrender in 1945.
Yahad-In Unum (“together in one” in Hebrew and Latin) is a Paris-based non-profit organization established in 2004 by Father Patrick Desbois. It is dedicated to identifying and documenting those execution locations of Nazi mobile-killing units, the Einsatzgruppen.
Specifically, this exhibit presents the results of Yahad-In Unum’s painstaking research to uncover the largely unknown crimes and their locations. It also gives viewers a chance to learn about this lesser known as aspect of the Holocaust through eyewitness testimony, photographs, and quotes.
