Participants will create an edition of 5 8"x10" CYMK silk-screen prints, and be given a handout on the basics of converting their full-color image into a silkscreened reality! Students should provide their image the week prior so the instructor can process all of the images for printing. The class will be spent going briefly over the process, experimental approaches to CYMK printing, and printing their small editions. We will also print various layers from each image onto a larger sheet of 19"x25" paper to create a CMYK collage.

TYLER KEYLON is a graduate of VCU with degrees in Political Science and Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies. He has been involved with Studio Two Three for over five years specializing in silkscreen printmaking, and never plans on leaving. Tyler is particularly interested in how visual art is used to explore trauma, healing, and drive political activity around the world.
