Learn to traverse the line between analog and digital printmaking with a risograph printer. Participants will learn best practices for file preparation and output, use of a risograph printer, and printing and registration. Each participant will come away with the knowledge to print on a risograph and a 1 or 2 color print.

Participants should have an image in mind or completed prior to the workshop. Prior experience with photoshop and screenprinting is a plus but not necessary.

JAMES MCPHERSON is a painter and printmaker working Richmond, Va. He is the lead printer for Clown Kisses Press, a risograph printing press, and spends his time trying to make as many zines and books as possible.
