Lunch Break Science: Mental Health and Virtual Reality

Wednesday, March 17 at 12:00pm to 12:45pm

While new, immersive technologies like Virtual Reality (VR) are frequently associated with video games and entertainment, they also hold incredible potential for revolutionary breakthroughs in a variety of non-entertainment fields including mental health and wellness.

Join Richmond native David Waltenbaugh, founder of Root VR, for a discussion on some of the ways in which VR is poised to facilitate immensely powerful new mental health and therapy tools which may one day be at the center of evidence-based, gold-standard therapy and wellness best practices.

  • What: “Better Mental Health and Wellness through Virtual Reality Technology," presented by David Waltenbaugh, Co-Founder and CEO, Root Virtual Reality
  • When: Wednesday, March 17, 12 - 12:45 pm
