Ten artists will exhibit contemporary art at the cutting edge of modern aesthetic thought on the Slantwall Gallery located in the lobby of the Cultural Center at Glen Allen. From digitally generated images to representational oil painting, this exhibit spans concepts of space-time to the nostalgia of yesteryear. Color, mark-making, scale, humanity and future/history converge to provide interesting concepts of the newest in visual art.

Richmond's oldest professional artist group is a not-for-profit association whose purpose is to promote and encourage the creation of the visual arts and to foster information sharing through workshops, programs and outstanding art exhibitions. We feature monthly Saturday morning meetings with artist demos, a newsletter, social media publicity, a popular critique group, artist profiles, and great fellowship. Exhibitions are also a major focus of the Metropolitan Richmond Artists Association. All exhibiting members are encouraged to display original artworks at MRAA art shows throughout the Richmond area. Each year members display their latest pieces in an annual judged show with cash prizes. For more information see MetroRichmondArt.org
