November 2018 Art Exhibits
The following exhibits will be on display from Friday November 2, 2018, through Tuesday, December 4, 2018:
Gellman Room: Meditations on Community II - Catharsis figure painting, oil on canvas, by Richmond artist Judy Holloway
Dooley Foyer: Abstraction Separate Reality abstract paintings in acrylic by Richmond artist Danny Trent
Dooley Hall: Remembrances of Everyday Beauty oil paintings of the grace notes found in favorite places and things by Richmond artist Bart Levy
2nd Floor Gallery: Paintings inspired by the rocky coast of Acadia, a national park off the coast of Maine, by Richmond artist Cathy Van Pelt
The library's permanent collections include works by David Freed, Helen & Alvin Hattorf, and Anne Newbold Perkins.
First Friday @ Main
First Friday, a monthly opening-night reception for all the artists of the library's galleries, will be held on Friday November 2, 2018, from 6:30-9:00 pm.
