The following exhibits will be on display from Friday, November 1, 2019, through Tuesday, December 3, 2019:
Gellman Room & Dooley Foyer—Exhibit by the Friends of the Richmond Public Library will showcase the children’s book art to be given to each of the nine branches of the library along with an exhibit on the history of the Friends as part of the 60th Anniversary celebration.
Dooley Hall —Glimpses of Haiti—small-scale, vividly colored paintings of Haitian scenes by local artist, Rebecca Taylor
2nd Floor Gallery—Faces from Scream Forest—a series of portraits and pieces depicting the tortured souls of one of Virginia’s top ranking Halloween haunts by actress and artist, Lillie Patteson
The library’s permanent collections include works by David Freed, Helen & Alvin Hattorf, and Anne Newbold Perkins.
