Poe at the Pump House

Saturday, October 17 at 2:00pm to 5:00pm

Richmond's own Edgar Allan Poe returns to the Pump House! The Friends of Pump House are partnering up with The Poe Museum for another year of this unique event!
Come for a tour of the inside of Richmond's historic and gothic Pump House and enjoy a performance of dramatic readings of some of Poe's most famous work from a Poe actor.

The day will include three one-hour long tours, starting at 2:00, 3:00 & 4:00.

These one-hour sessions will include a history of the Pump House and a reading of Edgar Allan Poe's poems.

We are limiting tours to 20 people and we will be taking measures to keep visitors safe while inside the building.

As always, we require hard hats while inside the building, which will be provided and sanitized.

In compliance with covid-19 guidelines, this event requires visitors to wear masks at all times, hand sanitizing, and social distancing where possible.

Children are welcome and should be old enough to wear an adjustable hard hat while inside the building. The building is not ADA accessible and please no dogs, other than service dogs.
