Powerful Women in Poe's Poetry

Part of the Sunday Readings Series, this talk features guest speaker Dr. Amy Armiento on Powerful Women in Poe's Poetry.

Dr. Amy Armiento is a professor of English at Frostburg State University located in the mountains of Western Maryland. Since 2011, she has served on the executive committee of the Poe Studies Association, an international organization that supports the scholarly and informal exchange of information on the life, works, times, and influence of Edgar Allan Poe. She now serves as the organization's president. When she is not working, she enjoys reading, hiking the C&O Canal Trail with her dogs and family, and tracing her genealogy.
