Free Event

The Capital of the Confederacy is dead. What should Richmond's new tagline be? Artist Noah Scalin and community advocate Marc Cheatham join forces once again to challenge the Richmond community to image the future. Their last effort was the New Legacy image, the an empty pedestal on Monument Ave. Now they move on to the next thought for our community to collectively discuss: what SHOULD we be known for? This is an art show curated by local artists to express ideas that hinge around Richmond's identity and cultural changes. There is an accompanying virtual show hosted on the Gallery5 website as well. Both shows open April 2nd and will run through May May 1st. for more information.
