209 E Cawson St, Hopewell, VA 23860

Hopewell Library invites the community to immerse themselves in a unique and transformative experience of Sound Bath & Meditation, presented by Rich Plautz, on Saturday, October 21st, at 2:00 pm. This special offering provides attendees with an hour of curated music, featuring quartz crystal singing bowls and vocal toning, creating a harmonious and meditative environment for relaxation and healing. This event is a gift to the community and is free of charge for all attendees.

Beyond the soothing and meditative experience, sound baths offer additional benefits for overall well-being. The practice helps to calm the Vagus nerve, a crucial nerve responsible for connecting our guts to our brains. This nerve plays a significant role in determining whether our body should be in a state of "fight or flight" or "rest and digest." By exposing the body to the harmonious vibrations of the sound bath, the Vagus nerve can relax out of the stressful state, promoting a sense of calm and ease.
