Suga Honey Iced Tea Yoga

Monday, August 26, 2019 at 7:00pm

Do you actively seek out spaces where you can take a pause, remove your mask and simply be? Are you actively seeking mindfulness and a more just world?

In this 12 week restorative justice and yoga summer series we will do a gentle, beginner friendly yoga practice and meditation with other self-identified persons of color and anyone who celebrates and honors the need for such safe spaces. In each session we will spend 30 min talking about yoga, race and culture in a compassionate and safe environment.

Led by International Yoga Instructor and Holistic Wellness Influencer Kiran Bhagat and other community members, this series will build meaningful connection, stronger sustainable communities, bonds and inclusive realities for a just Richmond region through shared mindfulness and dialogue.

Vegan treats and tea will be provided for post- practice discussion.

A portion of Suga Honey Iced Tea proceeds will support Small Black Farmers Initiatives and Yoga Activist Outreach supporting Global access to yoga and healthy foods.
