The Prom, a musical by Chad Beguelin, Bob Martin, and Matthew Sklar, tells the story of Broadway’s brassiest stars joining forces with a courageous girl and the town’s citizens on a mission to transform lives. Four aging Broadway actors travel to the fictional town of Edgewater, Indiana, to help a lesbian student banned from bringing her girlfriend to the high school prom. The result is love that brings them all together. A cast of 20-plus talented teens and young adults will perform. The show, directed/choreographed by Hanna Clinton with musical direction by Elle Meerovich, will capture all the humor and heart of a classic musical comedy with a message of inclusivity that resonates with audiences now more than ever.

The show is part of the Jewish Family Theatre’s Second Stage – a performance education program designed to guide emerging youth theatre artists through the professional process of putting on a show.
