Stop by ART 180's Atlas gallery opening night October 4, 6-9 p.m., during RVA First Fridays to see the latest from youth at Richmond Juvenile Detention Center, including photographic posters, a world premiere music video, and a large-scale 3-D mural that imagines a future without youth prisons.
Performing Statistics is a Richmond-based project that works with incarcerated youth to imagine a world without youth prisons. The project has been a program of ART 180 since 2015 and recently became independent.
The exhibition continues through November 13 at Atlas, ART 180's gallery and teen art center located in Jackson Ward. Learn more at art180.org and performingstatistics.org
