Yemaja Jubilee, who writes a series of articles on "Growing Up Black N Charlotte County" for The Charlotte Gazette, tells of her participation in the March on Washington in 1963 in this unique and insightful talk, "WE GOT TIRED".
The author of the extraordinarily successful book, "Couldn't Keep It To Myself", Yemaja Jubilee is the Co-Founding Director of Cultural Libations, an inspirational speaker, poet, author, and songwriter. She is a member of the Core Management team of StudioW Buzz and Creative Consultant. She serves as Community Liaison for Martha High, The Goddess of Soul, and is currently the Co-Host for “The Boomerang” and hosts “ Celebrity Buzz on StudioW Buzz. She hosts the “Love, Light & Positivity “show on Josi’s Inspirational Network, Finding my Way Radio Network.
Ms. Jubilee has graced the Cover of NISH and has been featured in Sheen, MTM, Lemonade Mindset, On Purpose Magazines and guest columnist for the Charlotte Gazette where she is writing about her childhood experiences, entitled “Growing up Black N Charlotte County”.
Her poetry book, “Couldn’t Keep It To Myself” was released 2017 and Yemaja is working on her next two books, Sisters Sitting N the Blessing & Soul 2 Soul, Co-Authored with Ms. Martha High. Both are scheduled to be released in early 2021
