Yom HaShoah, a Day of Remembrance, is an annual observance at the Virginia Holocaust Museum honoring the six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust. This year's virtual event will feature the lighting of the Holocaust Memorial Candles, the awarding of the Carole Weinstein Prizes for Tolerance and Justice in the Visual Arts, a guest presentation by keynote speaker James A. Grymes, author of “Violins of Hope: Instruments of Hope and Liberation in Mankind’s Darkest Hour” and a special musical selection by Jocelyn Vorenberg on violin and David Fisk on piano.
