CultureWorks presents the second annual artoberVA Arts & Culture Summit.

Arts and culture peers, professionals,and creatives are invited to connect, network, and learn from industry experts.

Attendees can look forward to:

  • Advocating for the Arts, a panel discussion featuring Jay Dick (Americans for the Arts), Janet Starke (Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen; former ED at VCA, RPAA), and Damon Effingham (Wolf Trap Foundation; VFTA). Moderated by Lucretia Anderson (Richmond Forum).
  • Making Marketing Work for You, a presentation with Hodges Partnership
  • Meeting the Moment, a facilitated shared dialogue unpacking hot topics, successes, & challenges in the sector with Serena Fulton (Rootspace)

…plus professional headshots by Miranda Jean Photography (Glass Eye Studios, Richmond Chronicle) are included with your ticket!

Coffee, bagels, pastries, fruit, and other snack and beverage options will be provided.

Tickets are pay-what-you-will with a suggested donation of $10All proceeds will go towards supporting the CultureWorks Community Impact Grant program, funding artists and arts and culture organizations around the region.
