Art Opening at Petersburg Area Art League

Mona Dworkin, a mixed media artist will be showing her paintings in a show titled ” Metamorphosis “; incorporating ephemera, handweaving and photography.   The vibrant figurative artworks depict contemporary women and men with layered identities, revealing both vulnerability, strength, struggle and endurance.  Her work functions as a visual narrative, examining the complexity of relationships and the enduring capacity for resilience.
