Bowl-In-One (Hour) Wheel Class – artoberVA “Pay-What-You-Will”
The artoberVA Pay-What-You-Will Event Series allows audiences to name their price of admission at select venues across the region throughout October. Learn how to throw a bowl on the potter’s wheel, no experience necessary. We’re partnering with CultureWorks artoberVA for a special “Pay-What-You-Will” offering of our popular Bowl-In-One class. Join us for a one hour class and throw a bowl on the potter’s wheel. Offered every Friday in October at our Scott’s Addition location.
Fridays | 6-7 PM
Come see how fun and rewarding working with clay can be. This is a great way to try out pottery without committing to a full course, or as a fun activity to share with a friend.
In this one hour class, we’ll teach you the basics of making a bowl on the wheel. After class, pick a color for your piece; we’ll fire and glaze it for you, and about three weeks later your finished piece will be ready to pick up.

For cancellations made fewer than 4 full days, but more than 24 hours before the start time, a 50% refund or 50% credit toward another class or workshop will be issued. We cannot provide refunds or credits for cancellations or rescheduling requests made fewer than 24 hours before class starts, if you miss class, or arrive too late to participate.
Our classes are for adults. If you have a child under 18 interested in taking a class, please contact us before enrolling.

Still Life Ceramics Studio is located at 1600 Altamont Avenue in Richmond. Accessible parking is available directly outside the studio, and the entrance is wheelchair accessible with no stairs or ramp required. The studio is located entirely on the ground floor and has an accessible restroom.
Our studio includes pottery wheels, work tables, sinks, and other equipment at varying heights. We are happy to make reasonable accommodations whenever possible. Patrons with specific accessibility needs are encouraged to contact us before their visit so we can make sure they are comfortable navigating and participating in the studio.
