DOG MOM

DOG MOM

by Tate Elizabeth Hanyok
Direction by Rick St. Peter
Produced by Cadence

Liz is fresh off a divorce and on a mission to reclaim her life. She may be lost but she knows one thing– Liz is NOT a dog person. But when a scruffy stray pooch shows up on her stoop—Liz is thrust into a new kind of identity crisis: accidental Dog Mom. She’s soon swirling with unsolicited advice from strangers, dog park people, and the overwhelming feeling that she’s doing it all wrong. In this story of unexpected friendship– walk by walk, Liz begins to open up to a new kind of love and finds that the most surprising part of being a Dog Mom… is just how much she needed it. A NNPN Rolling World Premiere Comedy!

DOG MOM is produced at Cadence as part of a National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere. Other Partner Theaters are B Street Theatre (Sacramento, California), Oregon Contemporary Theatre (Eugene, Oregon), Florida Studio Theatre (Sarasota, Florida), and EnActe Arts (Sunnyvale, California).
