RVA East End Festival
The RVA East End Festival is a celebration of music, food and fun to support music and art programs at Richmond Public Schools in the East End. The Festival kicks off at 11am with the Richmond Police Department Community Band and a student showcase of performances by RPS East End students.
The lineup of talented professional musicians includes The Richmond Symphony at 1pm, No BS! Brass at 2pm, Lenny Holmes & The Forever Band at 3pm, The Dap Mallory Band at 4pm, James “Saxsmo” Gates at 5pm and concluding with Sounds Funny Band at 6pm.
While there is no charge to attend the RVA East End Festival, donations to support the mission are appreciated and can be made online at the Festival’s website or by making contributions at the Festival. In addition to an afternoon of spectacular music, the Festival will have an array of food vendors including a collaboration with the Black Restaurant Experience, exhibit booths, a kids’ play area and more!
