Weird World Adventures with Malorie Mackey and Michael Maldonado

We are excited to invite you to an upcoming event with adventurous duo Malorie Mackey and Dr. Michael Maldonado on Saturday, October 10th at 1:00 PM. Both are members of the world-famous Explorers Club and creators of the Amazon Prime adventure series Weird World Adventures and MaloriesAdventures.com.

During the event, Malorie and Michael will discuss their show and their three co-authored books: Haunted Hikes of the Great Smoky Mountains, The Goth Atlas, and Secret Virginia: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful, and Obscure.

Malorie Mackey is a journalist and writer who specializes in covering anthropological topics with an expertise in mythology, folklore, and occult themes.
An avid adventurer and board member of the Explorers Club Washington Group, she is regularly on the hunt for the strange and unusual. When she’s not working, you can find Malorie volunteering on field research working with penguins or visiting famously haunted locations.
Malorie is thrilled to have published four books all within the past year including: Wanderlust: How to Make Money While Traveling, The Goth Atlas, Haunted Hikes of the Great Smoky Mountains, and Secret Virginia: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful, and Obscure.

Michael’s expertise in the medical field and insatiable curiosity for the scientific world around him allowed him entry into the exclusive Explorers Club, a century-old club dedicated to the advancement of field exploration and scientific inquiry.
