Henrico High School

Henrico High School, located in the Fairfield District, was built in 1962 with the new campus-style design. It was also the signature school and named after the county. In 1990, a dance studio was added, remodeled from one of the cafeterias. That same year, the Studio Theatre was remodeled from a former Industrial Arts classroom. In 1990, the Center for the Arts opened to students. In 2002, the Carroll Cloninger Auditorium, named after a former principal, was remodeled, and in 2008, new buildings were added: North Cafeteria (third cafeteria), and the Lee Hanchey Center for the Arts Building.
