Libbie Mill Library

Libbie Mill Library is the centerpiece of the Libbie Mill Midtown development, on Staples Mill Road south of I-64. Gumenick Properties, the project's developer, donated the three-acre library site through an agreement with Henrico County. The building features 39,915 square feet of library space over two floors, and an unfinished third floor with an additional 20,060 square feet available for future expansion. Parking is available for approximately 235 vehicles. The library has been awarded LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver certification; the LEED program, operated by the U.S. Green Building Council, recognizes facilities that are environmentally friendly.
